Shift: Day shift, M-F
Compensation: $27-30/hr (DOE) plus OT and Bonus

Position Description:
The company is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide preventative maintenance and repair services on medical equipment on-site at hospitals in an assigned section of Upstate-NY.
This role will require applying a detailed understanding of electromechanical systems and the tools and processes required to complete the work. Daily focus will be on high-quality equipment service and on building customer relationships to drive growth opportunities.
The selected technician, working remotely, should reside in the Utica metro area to stay central to the hospital customers that require regular visits.
A company vehicle will be provided and all travel paid by the company.
Day-to-day functions:
• Maintain, repair, install, upgrade, and in-service at customer locations (medical facilities).
• Technical diagnosis and repair; cost estimates on customer-owned medical equipment.
• Assist the Sales team in marketing company equipment (joint calls, in-services, sales leads, demo and trade show set-up, etc.)
• Grow Service Contracts revenue through sales of new service contracts/renewal of existing contracts.
• Complete and submit accurate reporting.
• Spare parts inventory management.
• Daily driving to customer locations (medical facilities); some overnight travel.
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED required. (Associate’s Degree in an Electrical or Mechanical field preferred)
• Repair and maintenance experience with electromechanical equipment.
• Electrical and mechanical assembly.
• Training and/or certifications preferred.
• Sales experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical schematics.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Lift up to 30 pounds and push/pull 75 pounds.
