Position Details:
Title: DC Production Supervisor
Location: Marshalltown, IA (30 mins SE of Des Moines)
Shift: 2nd & 3rd shift, 2 openings on each shift
Compensation: Base salary $75K + OT opportunities + quarterly bonus = W-2 $85 - $100K 1st year

Position Description: DC Supervisor
As a DC Supervisor you will work closely with other production supervisors and management to promote efficiency and teamwork in each department and in plant facility. Attend meetings as scheduled or called. Stimulate maximum safety, efficiency, and productivity of production workers; ensure proper training of employees. Anticipate and determine causes of delays in shift operations and take appropriate actions to meet production schedules (on time delivery). Apply company employee relations and union contract policies in all dealing with employees. Monitor and confirm that machinery, equipment, and facilities are properly maintained and sanitized for efficient production. Arrange to have appropriate production records prepared and maintained.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is a strong leader with 3 or more years of leadership experience. You need to be able to communicate effectively, both written and orally, to subordinates, superiors. Attention to detail and safety are extremely important for this position as well. This is a Union environment, this position is non-union, but you need to be aware of operating in a union facility.
