Position Details:

Position: Electrical Technician
Location: Dallas, TX
Travel: None
Shift: Monday through Friday, Day Shift (normally 6am – 4pm) with alternating Saturday morning work as plant demands require.
Compensation: You can realistically expect your 1st year total compensation to be $90k – 117k
Base & Productivity ($31 – $40/hr, to start) $64,480 – 83,200

Average Bonus (paid out twice a year, 5% on Avg) $3,224 – 4,160

Average Profit Sharing (paid out annually, 17% Avg) $10,960 – 14,144

Average Overtime (12.5%) $12,090 – 15,600

Total $90,754 – 117,104

Position Description:

In this role you will support company with machine repair, maintenance and trouble shooting. Assist the safety team in the design, development and/or installation of machine guards and safety devices. Advising Production Supervisor in machine purchasing and installation. Specific responsibilities include:

Perform routine maintenance to ensure safe and optimum functioning equipment, systems and processes.
Troubleshoot, repair, and modify equipment to maintain workplace safety and production efficiency.
Generate parts lists and labor time estimates for maintenance and repairs.
Train key shop teammates on new equipment and/or modifications to existing equipment.
Maintain repair records.


Requirements:

NRF is looking for experienced Military Veteran with good industrial electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair experience.

Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams
AC & DC motor knowledge and experience
VFD knowledge and experience preferred
Power transformer knowledge and experience preferred
Programmable Logic Controller knowledge and experience preferred
Formal electrical safety knowledge and experience
Experience in operation of forklift, mobile crane, and/or other mobile equipment preferred
