Position Details:

The Field Service Technician is responsible for providing preventative maintenance and repair on medical equipment in the eastern North Carolina area. This role requires an understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and experience with the tools and processes required to complete the work. Daily focus will be on high-quality equipment service and on building customer relationships to drive growth opportunities.

The selected technician, working remotely, should reside in or near Lenoir or Wayne County to stay central to the hospital customers that require regular visits. 10-20% overnight travel.

Day-to-day functions:

Maintenance, repair, installations, upgrades, and in-servicing at customer locations (medical facilities).
Technical diagnosis and repair cost estimates on customer-owned medical equipment.
Assists the Sales team in marketing company equipment (joint calls, in-services, sales leads, demo and trade show set-up, etc).
Grow Service Contracts revenue through service contracts and renewal of existing service contracts.
Align with all health and safety codes and procedures as mandated by company policy, customer requirements, and regulatory agencies.
Completed and submit accurate reporting.
Spare parts inventory management.
Daily driving to customer locations (medical facilities); 10-20% overnight travel.
Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required. (Associate’s Degree in an Electrical or Mechanical field preferred)
Repair and maintenance experience with electromechanical equipment.
Electrical and mechanical assembly.
Training and/or certifications preferred.
Sales experience preferred.
Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical schematics.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
Lift up to 30 pounds and push/pull 75 pounds.
Ability to move medical equipment, including the ability to lift up to 30 pounds and push/pull heavy objects using up to 70 pounds of force
