Title: Senior Imaging Service Specialist (SISS)
Location: Wausau, WI
Shift: Monday – Friday | 1st Shift
This position is included in the on-call rotation for the facility and as such you may be required to work weekends in the future if emergencies arise.
Compensation: $45-$56/hour (dependent on years of experience and equipment experience).

Position Description | Senior Imaging Specialist
As the Senior Imaging Service Specialist (SISS), you will perform, and document planned maintenance and repair of medical diagnostic imaging equipment and associated systems.
The SISS must possess and demonstrate a highly advanced knowledge and ability to use the required test equipment and have the required electronic and mechanical knowledge and skills. The SISS must have the ability to interpret and effectively utilize service manuals, schematics and other applicable service information required to perform and document planned maintenance and repair of the diagnostic imaging equipment and systems. The SISS must demonstrate advanced organizational skills as well as effective communications, mentor developing technical staff, interpersonal and customer relations skills.
Specific Responsibilities:
Independently and under service management supervision performs general troubleshooting and repairs to the block circuit and component level. Also, independently and under service management supervision performs installations, calibrations and planned maintenance.
Proper use of all standard test equipment: multimeter, oscilloscope, dosimeter, AC line analyzer, phantoms invasive and non-invasive imaging test devices, service software, hand and power tools
Be able to read, analyze, interpret and follow signal flow on blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams. Exercise good system troubleshooting skills
Proven demonstration in understanding basic aspects of clinical applications and image quality requirements related to medical imaging equipment.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in the service and maintenance of medical imaging equipment (CT, MR, x-ray, and C-arms) with any manufacturer. You should also be able to read, analyze, interpret and follow signal flow on blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams. Exercise good system troubleshooting skills.
