Title: DC Power Equipment Technician
Location: Denver, CO
Shift: Day shift
Compensation: $35-40 hr. / $90k total compensation during the first year

Travel: Willingness to travel 100% of the time, home for long weeks every 2 to 3 months. Depending on region and time of year.
Position Description:
The DC Power Equipment Technician is responsible for performing circuit modifications, managing power transition operations, and handling both the addition and removal of circuits on active power distribution sources. This role includes testing and turning up power system equipment, overseeing complex and volatile job site operations, and fulfilling Site Supervisor responsibilities when necessary. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills, use experience and judgment to plan and complete tasks, and address critical customer issues with timeliness and expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct circuit modifications, transitions, and add/remove circuits on live power distribution sources
• Perform power system equipment tests and equipment turn-up
• Oversee high-risk work activities on-site, ensuring safety and protocol adherence
• Act as Site Supervisor, coordinating tasks and managing on-site responsibilities
• Troubleshoot issues based on experience and judgment to meet customer goals and resolve challenges
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of six (6) years of experience in DC power equipment installation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Valid driver’s license
