Position Description:
The Safety Specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations and policies on construction sites. They will work closely with project leadership to implement and enforce safety standards, conduct training, and oversee safety-related procedures to minimize risk and maintain a safe work environment.
Requirements:
• Familiarity with safety programs and certifications (NFPA, NESC, ASTM, ANSI, etc.), either in the military and/or post-military.
• Candidates with construction-specific safety experience and/or knowledge of electrical safety will be considered at the higher end of the salary range.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or similar preferred.
• OSHA 30 Construction certification required.
• CPR/FA Certified (Trainer Preferred), along with other safety certifications desired.
