Position Description:
Industrial Electricians are responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and maintaining all electrical systems throughout the plant. This role supports both daily operations and long-term improvement projects to ensure plant reliability, safety, and efficiency.
Key duties include:
• Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing plant electrical and control systems.
• Working on systems from 120V to 480V, including motors, drives, PLCs, and instrumentation.
• Performing preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• Designing and modifying control systems and circuits to improve performance.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, electrical diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Support installations of new equipment and assisting contractors when needed.
• Completing maintenance reports and documenting work via a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Requirements: Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of industrial electrical experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong working knowledge of single and 3-phase systems, motors, VFDs, and input/output controls is essential. Experience with PLC troubleshooting and programming, especially with Rockwell and Allen Bradley systems, is required. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical documents, troubleshoot electrical systems, and maintain a high standard of safety, attention to detail, and collaboration. Strong communication skills and a willingness to work in a team-driven environment are essential. All candidates must successfully pass a drug test and background check prior to employment.
