SUMMARY OF COMPENSATION: In addition to base salary and full reimbursement of all job related expenses, the company pays the technician an additional $150 per day for every day traveling or working away from home that is billable to customer. This is increased to $200 per day for weekend / holiday / offshore day. COMMISSION ON PARTS INSTALLED: the company pays the technician $25 to $250 per part, depending on degree of difficulty of part.

Most project work (drydocking of vessels or new builds) is done in USA shipyards located in the Gulf of Mexico and on the East and West Cost. Primarily, this position is being filled to address work on the Gulf of Mexico.

Requirements:
• Some shipboard experience is required. Must be willing to work in height
• Experience on offshore platforms or drill ships a plus but not required.
• Must be able to travel occasionally to Mexico, Panama, Canada, Bahamas.
• Typical job length is 3 to 5 days during a ship or rig's drydocking period.
• Successful candidate will be expected to maintain a vehicle in working order to provide transportation to / from local jobs.
