Location: Anywhere near 200 locations nationally initially. During the training period (first 52-54 weeks), you will rotate across typically 7 business locations, spaced out during the LDP program. • Take responsibility for all quality control on the project and establish high-level standards both for the company and trade partners.
• Coordinate the punch list process to ensure owner acceptance at project turnover.
• Develop and maintain relationships with the owner, architect, engineer and trade partners to ensure the highest level of quality and customer service is delivered.
• Participate in the project coordination meetings to maintain pre-planning engagement and scheduling in the coordination activities. Assist the BIM and VDC engineers in driving issue resolution to keep the submittal process on schedule.



Requirements:
The ideal candidate has a 4-year degree in civil or structural engineering, architecture, or construction management as well as 5+ years of experience on large commercial construction projects.

Position Description
The Approvals Manager is responsible for conducting technical reviews of projects, including sampling results and facility approvals, to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal permits and regulations. The role involves project evaluation, permit management, compliance reviews, and safety inspections. This position is considered a working manager role with no authority for personnel actions but requires extensive knowledge and judgment to accomplish goals.
Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
• Review testing procedures, analysis, site history, and waste descriptions for contaminated soil considered for facility acceptance.
• Assist in the approval of new and ongoing projects, ensuring material meets acceptance criteria and maintaining permit-related records.
• Evaluate inbound jobs for completeness and permit compliance, approve jobs in CORE, and communicate with customers regarding approvals.
• Ensure proper sampling of processed batches of treated material, following chain of custody, to maintain permit compliance.
• Review post-treatment sample data to ensure compliance with permitted treatment standards.
• Regularly review facility permits and verify compliance with permit conditions.
• Maintain compliance records in accordance with permit requirements.
• Prepare and submit quarterly and annual reports to regulatory agencies as required.
• Conduct compliance reviews, risk assessments, and other safety assessments to support facility operations.
• Perform facility EH&S inspections and maintain relevant logs and documentation.
• Schedule and/or perform EH&S training for facility employees.
• Administer and maintain EH&S compliance programs such as LOTO, Hazard Communication, Hearing Conservation, and Respiratory Protection.
• Ensure all safety regulations are followed, wear required safety equipment, and immediately address hazards or report them to appropriate personnel.
• Comply with all company and EH&S procedures and policies.
