Assign project resources; facilitate the creation of detailed testing plans and prioritization of work.
Responsible for performance reviews for the team; contributes to a high-performing team by coaching and developing team members.
Analyze production issues, define and create tools that help mitigate problems in the system design and integration. Identify changes that are necessary to maintain optimal system performance
Develop solutions to monitor software health, perform log analysis, and automate system recovery.
Perform vulnerability and risk management for designated systems.
Develop, implement, and maintain tools that are used by internal engineering and customer service teams as they build, enhance, and support current and new products.
Prepare system design concepts, create detailed designs, perform analysis, test prototypes, and document completed designs.
Perform system level design and analysis on products. This includes concept design and trade studies, including cost and performance, of electrical, mechanical and software as interrelated systems.
Provide support to Project Managers including mentoring, escalation, training, performance management. Define the roles and key steps to ensure consistent content and flow of information to better manage and prioritize projects as needs are always changing.
Influence cross-functional stake holders, and hold project managers and task owners accountable for delivering on time, on budget and with high quality. Escalate issues quickly and find ways to resolve them.
Establish documentation standards across all product lines. Ensure complete standard documentation delivery with each project completion.
Collaborate with members of interdisciplinary teams to implement and release high quality, reliable, ergonomic designs to production, which may include participating:
in the design, requirements specification, coding, verification or test of software in accordance with internal standards and procedures.
in the electrical design, analysis, bread-boarding and/or test in accordance with internal standards and procedures.
in the mechanical design and analysis in accordance with internal standards and procedures.
Lead the team of professionals that includes Mechanical, Electrical, Controls Engineers, and Consulting Resources
Provide fiscal leadership and continuous quality improvement principles and processes to improve quality and minimize operational expenses.
In order to be successful in this role, you should have at least 3 years’ of hands-on engineering experience related to Electronic / Electrical and computerized electro-mechanical systems such as robotics, conveyors, sensors and PLCs (specifically RS Logic, Allen Bradley, Beckhoff and Structured Text). You should have experience leading/supervising a small team of engineers / technicians, and display some level of expertise with computers (software, remote diagnostics, windows-based networking etc). Requirements: The ideal candidate for this job is a PLC-experienced technician who possesses strong electrical skills, has a basic mechanical aptitude, and is an independent-minded, self-motivated individual comfortable working remotely. You must be service-oriented to satisfy client’s needs and build business relationships. Any experience with machinery and conveyor equipment experience is a strong plus as is familiarity with scheduling and expediting the turnaround time on service calls. You must have dependable transportation, a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance along with willingness to drive up to 2 hours at beginning and end of day for service work (paid time).

Must be able to read wiring schematics and troubleshoot DC and AC circuits.

Duties may include:
• Operations:
o Coordinate the creation of emergency jobs in the field management system and project tracking system with the Field Operations Superintendent, associated project team, and company leadership.
o Maintain situational awareness of the daily and weekly schedule and coordinate support requested by the field management team.
o Participate in the daily stand-up meeting
• Planning:
o Participate in the job status meeting with the project teams. This task includes updating the status of materials on order, communicating to the project teams when all materials for the project are on hand, and noting the priority of projects to pass on to the field management team.
o Participate in the scheduling meeting with the field management team. This task includes communicating priorities from the project teams, informing the field management team of the status of materials for jobs that are ready to schedule, and building a shipment schedule to support the jobs scheduled for construction.
• Logistics:
o Track inbound shipments, update the estimated time of arrival, and communicate this information to the project teams.
o Receive shipments, assign parts to their respective jobs, maintain the bill of materials (BOM) for each job, and communicate to the project teams and superintendents when a BOM for the job is complete.
o Pick and stage materials for shipment to job sites, including building pallets, checking materials against the BOM, and including a BOM packing list for shipment to personnel in the field.
o Arrange shipment of materials from the warehouse to job sites in coordination with the Field Operations Superintendent. This task includes determining the timing and method of shipment and coordination with field leadership, customers, and the field personnel who will receive the shipment. A shipment is not complete until it is received and accounted for by the personnel in the field.
o Assign shipping costs to the associated job in the field management system.
o Maintain an inventory of stock parts in the warehouse.
o Maintain an orderly warehouse, and ensure materials are available and accounted for to support operations.
o Identify process improvement areas and work with company leadership to develop projects to address them.

Requirements:
A successful candidate must be able to learn to use field management system software, communicate effectively via email, text messages, and phone calls to support operations in the field and manage their schedule. This role requires the ability to do the physical labor needed to receive shipments, move, stow, stage, and load materials for shipment. This involves standing, reaching, bending, and lifting materials to 70 lbs., moving loads on a pallet jack, and climbing ladders. The ideal candidate is someone who can work independently, coordinate with the field team, and take tasks to completion.

Requirements:
