Position Description:

Coordinates and implements the activities of workers engaged in repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and end equipment, and in maintenance of buildings, grounds, and utility systems of mill, industrial plant, or other establishments by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Ensures that scheduled repairs, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools and equipment are completed accurately and on-time to ensure continuation of production operations in line with determined work priorities.
Coordinates activities of workers fabricating or modifying machines, tools, or equipment to manufacture new products or improve existing products.
Directs maintenance activities on utility systems to provide continuous supply of heat, steam, electric power, gas, or air required for operations.
Implements preventative maintenance program in conjunction with engineering and maintenance staff.
Inspects operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards.
Implements new methods and procedures designed to improve operations, minimize operating costs, and effect greater utilization of labor and materials.
Discusses equipment needs and modifications with design engineers.
Requests tools, equipment, and supplies required for operations, also obtains quotes for projects and equipment.
Responsible that all emission control systems are working properly, and that all federal, state, and local documentation are being followed.
Implements training and indoctrination of workers to improve work performance and acquaint workers with company policies and procedures.
Confers with management, engineering, and quality control personnel to resolve maintenance problems and recommend measures to improve operations and conditions of machines and equipment.
Confers with management to resolve any personnel issues.
Assists in controlling costs in conjunction with departmental budgets.
Responsible to manage all employees assigned to his/her area of responsibility so the assets of the company are operated and cared for without abuse and unnecessary damage. This includes requiring people to check out, clean, inspect and report any problems with the equipment on a routine basis.
Monitors employee training, while suggesting needed changes to workers, and work procedures as needed.
Involved in Lean initiative that affect production methods, equipment performance, and quality of products.
Supervise and Motivate employees to achieve maintenance goals.
Responsible for plant personnel safety, and compliance with company policy. Conducting disciplinary actions as needed.

Requirements:
Company is looking for candidates with good Industrial Mechanical maintenance skills (to include hydraulics, welding, fabrication, and some basic industrial electrical skills) who aren’t afraid to occasionally operate equipment and who possess good leadership traits. Candidates with some experiences operating construction equipment, forklifts, cranes, trucks are ideal backgrounds. Most importantly, candidates must exhibit strong self-discipline, passion for work, loyalty, and high levels of teamwork and reliability. Specific requirements include:

Company is looking for experienced maintenance leaders with a strong background in mechanical maintenance (hydraulics and pneumatics) and some electrical (single phase and 3-phase AC, up to 450 V).
Candidates must have some basic experience with welding (Mig and Stick) and fabrication
Strong communication skills with internal teammates and external customers
Advanced Problem-Solving Skills
Ability to establish priorities and manage multiple tasks at once.
Ability to work outdoors and climb numerous flights of stairs numerous times in a day.

Position Description:
The Field Service Technician is primarily responsible for more difficult and /or complicated maintenance activities on Company Uninterrupted Power Systems along with their associated equipment. Other responsibilities include and are not limited to assembly, disassembly, testing, and commissioning of systems. He/She will also be required to provide and facilitate general assistance where needed. The position will be focused on customer satisfaction by ensuring contractual obligations are met and equipment down time is minimal.
Basic supervisory / mentorship responsibilities required at this level as being assigned as the lead technician for a maintenance activity or trouble calls. The Intermediate Technician will be under the direct supervision of the Regional Service Manager (RSM). In the event that the Intermediate Technician is assigned a project, he/she will be under the supervision of the Lead Technician assigned to the project or the Project Manager (PM).
• Provide customer service by analyzing and evaluating equipment performance within an assigned area of responsibility.
• Provide assistance and technical support to less experienced personnel.

• A basic knowledge of mechanical fundamentals as they apply to supporting Company UPS equipment.
• Must have completed Level 1 & Level 2 training for all Company UPS equipment in assigned territory.
