Title: Field Service Engineer
Location: Remote (anywhere east of the Mississippi River)
Travel/Schedule: 50%-65%; most jobs are between 1 and 4 days in length. You will be home on weekends and working from home when not travelling to client sites.

Position Description: As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing support and maintenance to customer’s location. Support and maintenance include installation and setup of new equipment, troubleshooting, maintenance, and customer training. Some specific responsibilities include:



Provide technical installation, training and maintenance support to Butler customers with their equipment.
Commission new and upgrade equipment in customer’s plants.
Audit customer’s company equipment and report all repair requirements found.
Provide timely written and oral reports in an accurate and professional manner.
Promote service parts and preventative maintenance contracts.
Work flexible hours to support customer’s needs.
Extensive travel (50%) majority in the North America with limited travel to Europe and South America.
In order to be successful in this role, you should have a working knowledge of electronic/electrical, pneumatic and mechanical troubleshooting, including familiarity with PLCs. You must ber able to interpret technical manuals. Blueprints, schematics, etc.

Position Description: In this role you will be responsible for supporting customers with on-site service, technical support and on-site training. You will spend your first few weeks training at the home office in Tulsa, OK, then receive OJT with other seasoned FSTs before going out on work calls autonomously. A candidate for this role should have experience with Uninterrupted Power Supplies (UFP) around 500kw+. They should be able to read schematics and utilize power testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, and multimeters. Candidates should be able to describe the types of UPSs they have worked on such as Vertiv or Eaton for example. They should be detail-oriented and have impeccable verbal and written communication skills as they will be customer facing. As an Energy Systems Field Specialist, you will be performing preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing of computerized building automation systems. Providing analysis of building control and HVAC system performance. Performing DDC controls troubleshooting and optimization of systems and ensuring documentation is accurate, complete and timely. Performing software only and software/hardware upgrades to building automation systems.
