Wayfair VP Presents to Orion JMO Candidates
Wayfair’s Vice President of Government and Industry Relations, Michael O’Hanlon, recently presented the Keynote Address at Orion Talent’s Distinguished Candidate Conference, addressing Wayfair’s military hiring initiative and his own transition from the military to the private sector.
O'Hanlon currently spearheads Wayfair’s government relations and industry strategy, managing collaborations with legislators, policymakers and regulators. Previously, O’Hanlan led business development and merger and acquisition strategy with Wayfair. Prior to Wayfair, O’Hanlon spent more than 11 years as an investment banker and six years as a submarine officer in the U.S. Navy. He earned an M.B.A. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a B.S. in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Virginia. O’Hanlon lives just south of Boston with his wife and four children.
